a senior testing engineer contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of technology-based business solutions. a senior testing engineer is skilled in designing, coding, testing, and implementation of configuration changes to software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements. a senior testing engineer may have some oversight responsibility for the technology solution and may assist in the development of the team.
key responsibilities may include:
 investigate and analyze application functional specification and business logic specification
 developing test strategy, test plan, test cases and test result
 working in an international team and communicate with the customers
 be familiar with profiling, competitor analysis, information architecture design
qualifications
 worked in the area of test scripting 2 to 3 years exp
 experience in using at least one of the following tools - qtp, loadrunner, silktest and silkperformer, rational functional tester, rational performance
 self motivator and fast learner
 familiar with software engineering
 ability of independent and team work with strong drive for results
 strong customer and quality focus
 good written and spoken communication skills in english
 solid skill and experience in software testing
 knowledge of software testing process
 ability to review test cases （all types of testing)
professional skill requirements
